We then went out to lunch with JP’s family for her uncle’s birthday. We walked into the room, and there were sunflower seeds all over the floor. Wooden chairs had been covered by dirty red covers, while the seats with dirty, torn cushions lined the back of the hall.
At least the boys had an opportunity to run around with their cousins.
I wanted to take them bowling, but when we got to the hotel where we used to go, the bowling alley was closed for repairs. In China, that can mean anything from a day to a month to a year to never. Since Mommy had other stuff to do, we promised we’d take the boys to KFC for supper and let them play.
After we finished eating supper, we looked up to see JP’s cousin-in-law with his twin boys, who are just a little older than our middle son. The five boys had a great time playing together even though they can’t understand each other. A play date was set up for Friday.
We didn’t get much done yesterday, but hope to have the toilet installed in the other apartment today. JP is also going to get measurements for the curtains, and maybe get them installed today or tomorrow.
Fun stuff, as always.
